Bull Terriers are descended from English Bulldogs crossed with Terriers. Miniature Bull Terriers are prone to have loose kneecaps. White Bull Terriers came into fashion among the well-to-do in the mid 1800s. Bull Terriers have often been used as guard dogs in the past, however modern Bull Terriers are very gentle.
